General Questions

How do I order a website from Webaroo?

Getting a website designed for your business has never been easier!

Checkout our range of website packages. Once you've found the one which suits your business you can go right ahead and order that package online using your credit card or Paypal. You'll then be taken back to Webaroo to submit a fun, 10 minute design brief.

Do I have to order my website online?

No, if you're not comfortable with ordering online we also accept payment in the form of an electronic bank transfer. Simply contact us to arrange this.

Which website package is best for my business?

It really depends on your business and your budget. Our Joey package is perfect for micro businesses and soloists with a limited budget, however if you want a 100% unique design that focuses on generating new leads then we suggest either our Wallaby or Big Red Packages.

What if I already have a website or domain name?

That's okay. If you already have a website or a domain name or both we can still set you up with a Webaroo website.

However, you will need to have admin access to your domain name and be able to provide us with an EPP code (also known as a domain password) so that we can transfer your domain name over to our system.

If you have any trouble doing this, we'll be more than happy to lend a hand.

Do you offer ecommerce or online stores?

Unfortunately we don't offer ecommerce of online stores at this stage. But we are currently looking into this option so stay tuned!

Design and Workflow Questions

What's the exact process from ordering to taking my website live?

Once you have ordered your website you'll need to fill out a 10 minute online design brief which provides us with the information we need to get your website right the first time. Once we've received this brief we'll then move forward and design a concept design for you and we'll send this over to you in the form of a .JPG image to give you a visual representation of what your website will look like.

At this stage you can either approve the concept and allow us to move forward and finish your website design, or you can request additional revisions. The amount of revisions your project is allocated depends on what package you purchased, but in most cases we usually get the concept design perfect the 1st or 2nd time around.

Once you have approved the concept we'll then move forward and slice, code, develop and construct your new website so it's ready to be taken online. We'll then hand you over a username and password so that you can login to your brand new website and begin adding your web pages straight away with our easy-to-use CMS. We've also provided online training in our CMS to get you off to a flying start!

Do I receive revisions if I'm happy with the initial concept design?

Of course! Every package comes with at least 2 rounds of revisions.

What info and material do I need to give you in my design brief?

The design brief is pretty straight forward and will ask you questions about your business and your future website - such as what design styles you like, examples of websites you like and what colours you'd like to see used in your design.

You will need to have the following prepared and ready to upload to us in the design brief:

  • Business logo (.psd, .ai, .pdf, .eps, .jpg, .gif or .png format)
  • Images of your business, products or services (eg. photography of your dishes if you own a cafe)
  • ABN number (if you want to register a '.com.au' domain name)

How long does it take until my website is live?

Once you have approved our concept design we'll then move forward to complete your website design. Our higher-end packages take longer to complete whilst our lower-end packages don't - However we do aim to have a website completed and ready to go live within 20 business days.

Pricing and Ongoing Fees

What is your monthly billing/invoicing procedure?

Every month; on the 28th we'll send you a PDF invoice via email for your monthly ongoings. Inside this invoice will be a link which directs you to PayPal to pay for your invoice. We've also provided instructions for paying via an EFT if you'd prefer that method too. It really is quite simple.

Can you explain upfront costs, ongoing costs and add-on costs?

Upfront costs involve the initial price of your website package and you'll only be required to pay for it once. Ongoing costs are the fees we charge monthly to maintain and host your website and add-ons are optional extras you can purchase to extend your website. Some add-ons can be purchased for a one-time fee (eg. Facebook page), whilst others require an ongoing fee (eg. Email marketing).

What do the ongoing costs include?

Your ongoing costs include website maintainence, hosting, email support and phone support. Ongoing costs, hosting and support do not rollover to the next month.

Are there any hidden fees?

Absolutely not. Everything is spelled out in plain English so you're not caught off-guard by any nasty surprises.

Can I cancel at any time?

Of course, when you order your website you're not tied into any lengthy contracts. However an $80 cancellation fee applies if you cancel within 12 months of using our service.

Marketing Add-Ons Questions

Are Marketing Add-Ons included in my website package?

No, add-ons are not included for the Joey or Wallaby packages - however they can be purchased and "added onto" those packages at an additional cost.

Our Big Red Package does include all the add-ons. And you'll save $15/month on your email marketing service too by ordering this package!

Are there any ongoing costs attached to the Marketing Add-Ons?

The only add-on that requires a monthly fee is the Email Marketing add-on and this fee will be added onto your initial ongoing costs.

I'd like an Add-On that you don't currently offer. What can you do?

Get in touch with us to see if we can work something out.

What are the benefits of using Marketing Add-Ons?

The benefits of investing in our add-ons are huge. Generally our add-ons are aimed towards helping you build solid, online relationships with your local customers and clientele. We've found that our add-ons pay for themselves many times over due to their effectiveness.

Will I begin to see results immediately from my Marketing add-ons?

Unfortunately not. When your website is taken live for the first time chances are it will be receiving little to no website traffic. It's now time to start driving traffic to your website so update your stationary, submit your business to local directories and peruse through our blog to learn some pretty neat tricks and tips for driving targeted traffic to your website.
